To get herbs ready for winter…
Trim dead stems from lavender just at top of the grey leafed foliage.
Cut Echinacea at ground level.
Dig comfrey and horseradish root.
Freeze fresh cut chives, parsley and basil.
Dry mint, sage and thyme.
